Now that classes could gradually be resumed, we're glad to see some familiar faces again. On their third visit to PPO Library for the Free Books Programs, teachers of Li Cheng Uk Government Primary School (李鄭屋官立小學) in Sham Shui Po would want to enrich their English books collection as many of their students came from the South Asian ethnic communities. This time they're happy to take back to school 800 books of various levels and interests in 11 carton boxes, totally free.

We understand that some schools may not have sufficient resources for book-related programs. In the case of Li Cheng Uk Government Primary School, they could only afford to use old file cabinets as bookshelves.

Through our Free Books Programs, the School was able to get thousands of quality pre-owned books tailored to the interests and needs of their students.

On the other hand, the money saved could be used to help create a reader-friendly environment, such as installing colourful bookshelves.
